I'm glad you're enjoying it!

>.> I have to admit, I think the games graphics are exactly what would put me off the game. I don't care for them at all, from what I see. <.

It doesn't have the imaginative flair of WoW's semi-cartoonish graphics, but it also looks much better cranked way up. It looks like Tabi's playing it on low settings.

Poor Tabi. :uP

Yeah, I did say that's on the very low setting. My connection doesn't like to load a lot of stuff.

It's the animations that put me off, honestly. They don't have the smoothness of WoW characters at all, they're not really beautiful to look at with a few exceptions. However, I'm getting over that since it's the only thing I've found to dislike to far.

Yeah, I think that's what I didn't like about it too. The battle animations weren't smooth and didn't have a nice flow to them.

Oh, I also didn't like the crafting co-depedency either. My guy was a tailor, but he couldn't refine his own hides into leather? Like, the single most basic piece that all my recipes require, I couldn't make myself. *groan*

The only thing I don't like about the co-dependency is it makes the tradeskills seem more open than they really are. For the most part it seems like the vocations have one or two skills that are the "main" skill, then another gathering prof or crafting prof tacked on. There's like 3 vocations that have tailors, but it looks like Explorers are supposed to be the most self-sufficient and "mainly" tailors than the others, since they have Foresting too so they can make leather.

I actually like the co-dependancy. That's, uh, possibly because between J and I we have absolutely everything covered though >.> And because I got used to it in WoW when Zyrhan was Alchemy/Skinning and Zylona was Herbing/LWing...

So Checkerberry is a Yeoman, with farming/cooking/tailoring. Which means I basically can't tailor, because I can't treat hides. So I mail my hides to Silana and she tailors for my whole group. Since hides are a free drop from beasts and don't need to be skinned, it works pretty well. Also, basic, untreated hides sell for like a silver each on the AH, so it's a good source of income if you don't want crafted armor.

If you want hides treated, let me know, I'm happy to do it.

BTW, playing with you today was AWESOME! You had me laughing SO HARD!
