The 4th is over, the damn firework noise can start going away, now!
It seems to me that several people on my flist are suddenly not 'mutual' anymore. That is; they have *me* listed as a friend, but somehow they are not listed back as my friend. Which is nutty, because some of these people? I have been mutual friends with for a decade or more.

Man, you'd think, but 'gender reveal' idiocy and random 'i must burn all these leaves!!' people and the firework nuts tell a different tale....
Nice! I love to get recs of things. I try to watch new and different stuff, otherwise I'll just be watching Mad Men or Call the Midwife or WKRP for the millionth time, and really - stop that.
I always watch the subbed ones. Dubbed ones are just too weird. I hate when their mouths don't match the words coming out, and the dubbers sometimes don't seem to get the emotion right. So i just prefer subs.
Plus - i really enjoy hearing all sorts of different languages and how they sound and how people talk.
I really loved the S.Korean zombie flick 'Kingdom' - a period drama and actually scary at some points, which zombie stuff has ceased to be, for the most part. Supposed to be a new season....soon!! But who knows.
There are just no network shows out there that seem remotely interesting. I watch like Top Chef (I download), but sit-coms and the umpteenth iteration of Law&Order? No, thank you.
