I ordered a replacement power cord two months ago and was sent the wrong part. Last month I called and they assured me the right one was on the way. Today my power cord broke this = no laptop. I gave them a call and they said they had no record of me ever requesting the part despite the order number I have. GAH!
I have two options.. one wait 5 weeks for them to straighten this out. That being 5 weeks with no net access at home and no net access in class. :( Or I can drum up the $50.00 plus shipping that it will cost to purchase a new cord. The chord that is covered under my warranty that they fucked up in the first place.
If I order a new one and buy it out of pocket it will still be 5 days before it arrives. That will put me offline until next week sometimes. (Barring camping out at the local library where I can use the computers.)
I still don't get what was so hard to understand when I said. "My power cord is broken. Please send me a new one." the first time.
God Damn IT!
