I think this is my first time posting but I've been operating on t-shirts for a looooong time!
Okay so here's a BUNCH of stuff I've made over the past few months.
This was 2 shirts that I put together to make one super-sweet baseball shirt:
then I randomly painted some distressed lines across it and a cityscape:
this is a shirt a band I know asked me to recon in a cool way. I'm not sure how successful I was:
(yeah and it looks better without lime green bra straps probably)
two shirts, now one shirt, blah blah ya get it:
kind of a mock-turtleneck feel
the keyhole looks better when I'm not majorly hands-on-hipping, honest!
made from a giant t-shirt my then-boyfriend had, with white t-shirt remnants and houndstooth fabric I got from a pair of pleated! high-waisted! slacks!
(once again, ignore the bra straps. ew!)
some pants! this was also from then-boyfriend, and it said "for good luck, rub my tummy." ew. it also had buddha on it. I'm sure we're all familiar:
the crotch is also not as weird as it looks here. my friend didn't tell me when he was taking the picture so I think I was sort of dancing in this one.
one GIANT t-shirt:
I painted some sparrows on it. I guess it's like a pinafore?
and then there's another little sparrow guy hiding out on the back!
another pinafore-type-dealie from another giant shirt:
it has heart-shaped buttons just below the straps, but of course I forgot to take pictures of it.
and FINALLY!
a dress made from one huuuuuge t-shirt and one normal-sized if slightly small Stars t-shirt:
I think you can see the bust detail a little bit better in this one(also my fat legs!):
I'm not too sure about the straps though; I feel a little star-treky...
So! What do you guys think?
What I'd really like to know, would anything along these lines be sell-able? As a poor college student who mooches off of my mom for money, I am threatened with being cut off or getting a job, and I feel like selling clothes might work pretty well for my lazy self.
Thoughts? Comments/criticism certainly welcome!
