HIIIIIIII i'm back from my 5 week vacation in india & thailand! so yeah, that means i'm basically back to work again on _lipglossblack_. i've got a bunch of surgeries to show you guys now & probably a whole lot more in the next week since i'm trying to make as much stuff as is humanly possible before i move back to school :( okay, here's what i've got so far!
this was a custom order for a customer who sent in one of her old tees :)
it's a grey reservoir dogs shirt & i added a black and white striped banded top (with elastic inside), a checkered banded bottom & a gap at the hip! oh yeah & a big black stretch lace insert at the back.
i made this sexy tube top from a licensed MOTLEY CRUE tee! the print on it says "motley crue" in red & has a big grey pentagram on the front. the print is distressed so it's supposed to look a bit worn in (but the fabric is brand new & unwashed!) i banded the top and bottom with a matching grey coloured jersey knit fabric and the top is elasticized so it won't slip down on you! (the straps are NOT included... that's my bra!) and the back is awesome cause i made a huge "V" shaped cutout that's got sexy black stretch lace in it! so yeah, rock out with your.... back showing. ahahah.
a dropkick murphys man-shirt made into a cute tube top with a banded bottom and banded top in grey stretch lace. i'm keeping this babyyy.
i made these gorgeous stretchy tights from a brand new judas priest tee! the print you see on it is a huge hand holding a razorblade that says "JUDAS PRIEST british steel". i guess it's wrapped around my leg so it's hard to tell but these tights look soooo awesome in real life! i made them super low rise with a stretchy banded waist
my bf says this is his favourite reconstruction. i suspect it has something to do with the booty booty booty booty rockin everywhere ahahha
awww cutest shirt ever! i made thiss one out of black jersey knit fabric and put on a rainbow heart fabric as a yoke! the front has grommet tape (not snaps) the look like it's a button up. the collar is finished with an adorable black elastic trim with black hearts on it. the back has a deep scoop neck with 4 cris-crossed yellow ribbons to hold it together. lastly this top has adorable raw-edged flutter sleeves and a black banded bottom :)
this cute little halter was made by sam out of a licensed MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE tee with a print of some demon dude on the front & the print says "the devil's got a place for you and me". the back has the MCR logo in a matching yellowish colour. the halter is a simple bunched design that ties at the back!
so sam bought this shirt from monaco or monte carlo or somewhere when she was on vacation in europe! but she never wore the souvenir so now it's reconstructed just for you! the print featured on the shirt is a black and white print of numerous pics of the one & only marilyn monroe & on her lips is red glitter! sam added black side panels, made the back of it red & the top band is black as well! there's cute "v" slits on the sides. anyways, i think it's adorable, red black & white! you can't go wrong with those colours! :)
sam made this baby out of an a7x tee. umm it's got a stretchy wide elastic waistband & yeah. she's soooo keeping this. haha
funeral for a friend tee turned simple tube top! by sammmmmm. she's keeping this tooo.
forgive me for posting this non-t-shirt-surgery. i just love it LOTS.
plus i'm sure you could do this with t-shirt pieces anyways. haha
i LOVE this hoodie soooo much. it's so simple & versatile, i'm definitely going to make one for myself too! i made this hoodie with a thin black jersey knit fabric. it's got half length sleeves with raw edges & a superrrrr deep scoop neck front that's finished with black stretch elastic trim with tiny hearts on it. the bottom is banded with a thick band of the same jersey fabric & the best part is the hood, it's lined with a shiny silver & chrome coloured ARGYLE fabric! i love this pullover hoodie cause it's just perrfect to wear in the fall to keep warm but still show off your cute summer shirts :)
okay, one last non-t-shirt surgery.
but i'll justify this one by saying, you could totally do this to an old tee that has some lame print on the front!
this pullover leopard print vest is sooooo FABULOUS! i made it from a great leopard print jersey knit fabricc and finished the edges with black stretch elastic with black hearts on it. the bottom is banded with the same lepard fabric & it has a suuuuuper deep scoop neck front! in the photos i'm wearing it with a great thick black belt (which is not included) but it also looks awesome just by itself over your favourite little camisole or even long sleeve tops! [the lighting is a bit bright in these pics & the one truest to the real colour is the picture of the back of the shirt] the shirt is labeled a medium but will fit both larger & smaller because it's pretty versatile :)
OKAY, so you missed me right?! RIGHT? ahaha well, i missed you guys.
