At the library.

The last thing I need is that antivirus vista thing infecting my laptop.

And I wish that tech lady I've been on the phone with for the past two hours could understand that I may be under a little stress because, oh, my computer might crash and burn anytime within the next five hours.  She probably deals with hundreds of hysterical people a day, but I was totally cooperative and more computer-savvy than most of her clients.

So, I don't know.  If I accidentally close a window or type in an incorrect letter, I wish she didn't take that exasperated "you know what, miss, let's just do this-" tone with me. I wasn't going to cry anytime soon, BUT GOSH, COULD SHE HAVE BEEN ANY MORE MEAN?

... I can't even deal with this.  I just want my files and programs safe.

And I don't like working at the library but all my classes require internet/computer access, so.... :C

03/06/10 UPDATE: I'm afraid to type it's name. It's like a summoning or something, but it's that antiv*rus v*sta thing and it won't go away. I've been talking to a lot of people from south India lately. All very charming, except for the first one. She was mean.

Anyway, files are safe, supposedly.  I just can't be tempted to give out my credit card info whenever a pop-up happens.  Still gonna hang in the library for my work.
