Why I love my state

A second county is now issuing marriage licenses to same sex couples. And this is in spite of the fact that the Attorney General ruled last week that the licenses are illegal, though the law preventing them is probably unconstitutional. So same sex couples continue to get married in two Oregon counties; the only place in the country (I think)

Our state is the awesomest. I'm not really surprised they're leading the marriage thing -- there are so many lesbians in the Willamette valley it's almost uncanny. :)

Tuesday. I'm going to hang out with Leah for a bit before the term starts. And Karen's going to come down and visit too. Much fun! Can't wait!
