What a GREAT holiday!
Well Thanksgiving is over and the whole family is back home.
We had a GREAT gathering and dinner. My dad actually showed up for an hour with my brother who has become a bit of a family recluse of late. Good dinner, good drinks afterward (I broke open a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue Label) and GREAT fun with the kids.
Then Friday we all got back together for a steak dinner. More good times.
Saturday was a different story - most of the participants were sick as hell - throwing up, diarrhea, etc. It hit me on Sunday and I'm just now back to normal. I haven't been that sick in YEARS!!! The gang from Massachusetts was delayed going home because of the illness (flu, food poisoning, we'll never know) - but my nephews had better NOT blame it on my green Jell-o with carrots and celery.
Susan finished the Christmas shopping - on-line this year.
I got the lights on the house, the tree and interior decorations are this weekend.
My youngest brother watched Al Gore's movie and is enthralled - he thinks old Al should be elected president. I'll have to watch it to see what my opinion is.
