There is a glimmer of hope that I can keep my current job with the government!
They have determined that they need me for a few months longer for a specific case and will take steps to pay me under a purchase order.
Then there is a slight possibility that there will be a contract of longer term that I can bid on.
I will continue to look for other employment, but I sure hope that the govt thing works out for a long term relationship.
I hesitate to even post this because I don't want to jinx anything, but my conversation with my contract officer today has left me VERY excited and hopeful!!!
