Paul Maybury Digests by Paul Maybury  www.PaulMaybury.com

Paul didn't have his own table at Staple!, but Guy Davis let him sit at his table and I was able to pick these two sketchbooks up from him.  They have the Black & White versions of his Aliens story as well as Conan and some other shorts, plus lots and lots of art.  Very nice stuff!

Boobage

Bonnie N Collide Nine To Five

Lipstick & Malice

Boobage is about Monica’s struggles with self-esteem,  Bonnie N. Collide, Nine to Five is a weekly webcomic that recounts Monica’s life of being a rollergirl while working a day job (Monica was just drafted by the Junkyard Dolls, one of the four teams of lovely ladies of the Charm City Roller Girls) and Lipstick & Malice is a fictional series dealing with a professional model who works part-time as an assassin.

She also has a cute line of prints and T-Shirts with Greek gods and attributes on them that were very clever.

Manly Art Staple 2010 Poster by Jason Chalker www.manlyart.com

From Jason Chalker’s website: “Chalker’s style is reminiscent of the pulp and pin-up art of the 40’s and 50’s.  His work is imaginative and doesn’t take itself too seriously.  It’s the kind of art that makes you want to pick up a bad science fiction book or trashy novel and waste a perfectly good summer afternoon living in another, more bizarre world.”  This poster was done especially for Staple! 2010.We also bought some wonderful prints of his 2 versions of Bettie Page, “Good Bettie” and “Bad Bettie”.
