So I opted not to get the insurance coverage at work (do NOT bother lecturing me, I'm aware of the risks, and weighing the pros and cons led me to this decision) because then my pay would have been docked. And apparently once you get on the insurance the employer is paying a bit of it themselves because I instead got a pay raise when the coverage would otherwise have kicked in. I'm now making, to the best of my calculations, $1.50 per hour more! For me that's so worth it. I've never had insurance in the past five or six years anyway and never been in a position to need it. I'm like a cockroach, you can't kill me. <3 gambling health coverage against extra money.
Also, I was looking for something else, but I randomly ran across the Kokiri Forest theme from Ocarina of Time on Limewire, and suddenly I decided I must have a boatload of music from that game. I never got into video games, but I played the computer version of this one a few years ago. I was bored with it by the end, but initially it was very fun. Nice and atmospheric, good escapism. And the music is yay. I think my favourite is the Song of Storms the angry guy plays on his accordion thing in the windmill. I swear I'm the only person in the world who likes accordions.
