If my entry contains meaningful text after the meme, I will provide an lj-cut link to it so that people (including myself) can view comments without having to scroll aaallllllll the way down first.

Exactly what do you mean by this?

And I just lj-cut automaticaly when there's an image anyway. Might do that thing though next time... provided I can remember

I think the LJ cut tool is a good one for memes.

Although....

Personally I think it is your journal so you should post what you like, whenever you fee like it :).

I like the lj cut. I may not always use it, but I like knowing it's there if I know I'm gonna write a lot. Or it's something that I want to slightly hide. Not everyone goes through the stuff that's been cut...which means that if you're reading it, you're more interested in what I have to say rather than just reading to get gossip. Did that make sense, cause it started to not make sense to me at the end. Anyway, it's been a long weekend and I still have to write it all down.
