Talked to the cable company again. They've shut down the billing. The tech I talked to has no idea when it'll actually be disconnected, but everything I've been using since yesterday when they supposedly cut me off has been free. Hey, works for me!

(Not that I mind still having internet, or anything, but I'd intended to keep using it as long as it was available, and they did lose my instructions the first time.)
