Easy Summer sum-up

Hello LJ!

I have actually revitalized my Xanga blogging. My adventures can be found there.

But for anybody curious, my summer can easily be summed up: work. I've been back home in Sacramento since my Circle K board retreat. I've been working at my parent's restaurant for the most part. I usually drive there with my siblings, wash the many dishes in the back, cut up vegetables, do deliveries, etc. My compensation is of course living at home and being fed

Other than working, I've been spending my time working on my RA stuff, trying to practice Chinese (and failing at it), working out, watching the Summer Olympics, and letting my hair grow out. I think I've actually had a decent start to my RA work. I know I've saved one night of work from doing it over the summer. Which means one night of simply playing and getting close to my team (and going out of course!)

However, I have not been able to really see friends. It did feel like post-college time this summer (heh, like I really know what that will be like). I've only gotten the opportunity to see three people all summer, and they were at Davis. It was nice to catch up with old friends that I haven't seen in 2 years. I am planning on possibly making a trip out to San Leandro and the Bay Area next weekend, a few days before I end my summer and depart for LA.

I hope all of your summers are going well! I am bummed the Olympics are coming to an end tomorrow, it was great watching these amazing athletes perform things that I could never possibly do. haha.
