on the movie garden state, iroan & wine did a cover of such great heights. on the trailor, that was the postal service but they used iron & wine in the movie.

I still find it strange that they didn't use the actual song or at least get gibbard to record an accoustic version. His accoustic is so fucking good, too.

I can't imagine the licensing to be terribly expensive for a postal service song. WHATEVS! Their choice I suppose.

That's the same thing you posted before. The only thing I was curious about was why. I knew that Postal Service was on the preview, because I saw it, and I know that someone was covering Postal Service in the movie because it just wasn't gibbard singing. I still just find it strange that they used Iron and Wine's cover rather than the real thing or an accoustic by gibbard himself.
