Destroy all the cash you have
I went and got my student status extended for my student card and travel card today. It's always a bit creepy, every time I do that I'm expecting for them to suddenly ask for a filled-out form in coloured paper that I have never heard of. But it went relatively smoothly, although I forgot to go to (one of the) the Uni library(/ies) to get my status extended for that as well. But that's no big deal and I can do it later.
Afterwards, I decided to check out some record stores for Ladytron albums and possibly other stuff I might have missed during the long time when I haven't visited record stores. It turned out I could have bought some stuff I had ordered online from Tunnelin levy and/or Keltainen jäänsärkijä. Oh well. On the other hand the former had no Ladytron (or I could not find them, high likely considering the illogicality that is the filing system in record stores here), while the latter had only Velocifero - which I haven't heard yet so I didn't want to buy it. Half-jokingly I went to check out what they had in Anttila (I haven't bought CDs from Anttila since... probably buying Parklife from them in 2000) and they had all Ladytron albums available. Which was really, really weird, I'm so used to liking such obscure bands I'm surprised I can find music in a specialist record store, let alone Anttila.
But yeah. Then I also decided to visit Morticia in Kamppi and bought new trousers. This'll probably have to be the last shopping spree for now, as I'll be back to living with student aid starting next month. ;_;
After getting home I checked out what I'm going to study this year. Some fairly interesting courses out there... but once again I'd like to murder the idiots who design the time allocations for different courses - of course three courses I'd like to attend are held on the same time slot. And one of them is mandatory for my minor subject with no alternative time to take it in, so I had to go there despite it being (probably) the least interesting of the three. And we'll have to see what happens, my timetable for the first period seems pretty intensive. But considering I've lazed around for two years I guess it should be. ^^
