I'll just do my reply to your meme thingy here. Ack, first post I screwed up my closing tags. And then forgot to fix the opening ones, I'm doing just great.

Lots of pillows or just one?
None.

What kind of books do you read?
Mostly comic book trades (and most of those of series that ended a while back). Occasionally other random crap like novels recommended by friends (steam punk and sci fi mostly), writer background books (details on legal system, police procedure, and such), and random philosophic or other humanities books.

What are your neighbors like?
Avoid my neighbors, people above me are occasionally drunkenly loud when there is a game of some sort on.

What's the best lesson you've ever learned?
I don't know nothing, so can't think of anything that I'd label a lesson I've learned.

What's really creepy?
Take mini breaks at work to read crime news so probably one of the many stories about a mother doing something like drugging youngish daughters for their boyfriend to impregnate as they have gotten tubes tied.

What's your current fandom/obsession/addiction?
Recently finished reading Transmetropolitan, so I guess that. Also the Fallout series of games as New Vegas came out this week.

Do you prefer your junk food sweet, salty or savory?
Savory.

What websites do you always visit when you go online?
Email plus either wired, cnn, and Worse Than Failure at work or large list of webcomics at home.

What was the last thing you bought?
Lunch at Wendy's.

Do you get cravings? If so, what do you crave?
Smokes, Vodka, craft/import beers, and Whiskey.

Who would you say are the most important people in your life?
Hard to say, I guess the basic catigories are (not in any order): friends/brothers in my gaming groups, sister-bot, other fraternity brothers, a few specific friends I don't game with.

What was the last meal you ate?
Wendy's.

Do you want to learn another language?
Would be nice but have no head for natural languages. Non-natural languages: I want to brush up my C a bit and give Ruby a shot.

Five things you can't live without?
Insulin (at least not for long), internet, books, buddies (keep me grounded and in check), booze (self medicate).

What is the last song you listened to?
Not OK - Teenage Bottlerocket

What's something that you'd like to say to someone right now?
Nada.

What are you looking forward to?
Nothing.

What's something you get the most complimented on?
I don't really get compliments, so I dunno. Prolly something generic about how I deal with things.

Nice to hear from you, Matukias! It's been too long. Are you in Anchortown or elsewhere. Are you writing crime/mystery stories these days? Sorry to hear you aren't looking forward to anything. :/ I miss your sense of humour.

Nah, I'm in Kentucky these days. Horses are boring, but are a big deal here. Thankfully so is bourbon. Still do a little writing, but not as much as I should be doing.

Why Kentucky? I mean, besides the bourbon. Writing never happens as much as "should". The question is, are you enjoying it?

Kentucky == location of job offer after schooling.

I write software for a company that does "Business Process Outsourcing". Basically other companies have things that they need to do, but don't want to so they pay us to do it. The section I work in handles an insurance company, so we open and sort their mail, figure out what is on the forms, and then send that info into their system so they can decide to pay or not. Other than that I can't say too much as my work is under a NDA (so other companies don't take their ideas and their customers don't know what things we do for them).
