Started in September, but to be honest I’ve done very little actual work!
It’s work from home, 30 hours a week, raise from my last job at Dyson, and 10 hours less per week.
And a few months in I feel hella lucky! I had 2 weeks of training before a week in Amsterdam, which was also training but didn’t feel like it at all, the city was lovely, and it’s made me consider city breaks much more…
A couple of days back from that and I was in Scotland for 3 days, annual meeting and Xmas party. And here I am.
It seems awesome and the people I’m working with seem so to, I just want to get the daily job down now. Phil also got the same job, I suggested it to him, and he’s out in Amsterdam again next week helping clear up a faulty machine that was just fitted.
Lots of travel opportunities with this job, someone suggested I’d be off to the states shortly to learn more of the IT setup info, and that sounds exciting.
Yeah, loads of potential in work life. Personal life is the usual, somewhere between content and lonely. Bedroom redecoration is underway, from a virulent pink to a coastal blue, a kind of pale cyan. Looks awesome if I do say so myself :-)
I’m on with the skirting board, which although being painted white 30 years ago, is now a cream colour, made all the more obvious by the now gloriously white ceiling!
Right, off back to my PC. I’ll be putting up the Christmas decs soon…I’ve got to move my forest of plants out of the bay window. There way more of them this year, no idea where they’ll fit xD
