One of those days!
So I get up thinking 'bad start, but lots to look forward to', I should have known it was going to be one of those days.
Got to the post office to pay my bills, and there is a queue. Not so bad; get to the front and the woman I get doesn't seem to know what she's doing, and I have tucked my bill away somewhere safe, as although I got the reciept, the piece of paper that is usually stamped and taken off the bottom, hasnt been. Then I realise I have forgotten the piece of paper with the addresses on it, so my letters cant be sent, so I head home instead of for my walk, only to remeber once I got here that I have all the adresses I need in my diary, and I did have it with me! So I set off to post them again and rememebr I had another bill waiting at home, stuff it thinks I and posts and sets off for my walk.
The wind is strong and chill, and once I get down onto teh front I discover that it is in exactly the wrong direction, so it blows between the buttons of my coat and I may as well not be wearing it. I continued a little while trying to clear my mind and ignore it but to no avail, so I got half way and turned back. I got spotted and accosted by a customer who recognised me, a delivery person with a package for someone who wasn't in, and a neigbour accusing me of running over the gravel in my leaving 'great gaping holes' in it.
It wasn't untill I managed to get the words "I don't have a damn car!" out of my mouth between her breaths that she stopped claiming she'd seen me do it! I walked off.
All in all I'd say this day can only get better, right?
