Awesome! I am going to totally have to check out DRS. I think I have heard of it before. I am still at it after six days! I really should try to find a training plan. So far I am just trying to run for longer then I did the time before. I am up to running for a whopping 6 minutes. I am still proud though! Tonight my achilles tendons were totally killing me. I don't remember ever having that problem before. I think it is a combo of needing new shoes (yes, mine are like 5 years old) and needing to stretch before going out. How do you stretch your achilles anyways?!

Oh, it'd be GREAT to have another Tucsonan on DRS :) I've also got a good friend here, boilerbonehead, who's a dead. If you sign up there, give a shout out to Kristi in Tucson (me) or Ron Steve (boilerbonehead), and I can pop up from lurkerdom. There's another active Dead in Tucson - Jennifer Aviles. She's an older woman (60s maybe?) who's just starting to get back into racing shape. Also, if you used to watch the Channel 4 news and remember Frank Field, he's a very active poster on DRS, too ( ... )

Yay for forward motion, and a return to the running world! Nope, not going to make any wagers on anything, but I'll be inordinately happy when I see your name in the results of that 5K. Time be damned, just do it! You've got many years ahead of you if you wanna start worrying about time again. :)

Now my task is to survive a halfathon in November injury free, so you can join me for that very short to nil warmup, give me a sendoff, and a finish-line high-five at R'n'R-AZ in January. ;)
