Yay! I am so excited to start reading! And yet so nervous too, considering the last installment's emotional rollercoaster. Thank you SO MUCH for posting when I am off work and can just bask in your story :-D
Also, as far as commenting goes... do you want my "as I read" sort of comments like I did last time or would you prefer that I give actually well thought out commentary at the end after I read the whole thing?
You have made my night! I'm so excited to see you've updated.
But, oh, sweetie, you are breaking my heart at the moment. Poor Jim--to think he and Len are on the outs makes me a little weepy. The way you've structured their relationship is so wonderful, and now, Jim feels like it's falling apart. And Len and Chris together--one of the reasons why they are my OTP; they are amazing together. I really feel for Len here; he's aware that he's more doctor than lover, and it's sad but true because Chris needs that right now. Still, that Len feels so damn much for him--wow, it's so palpable.
And Dael--she's a wonderful with Jim, reassuring him and being with him. Lovely, lovely woman.
Thank you so much for that wonderful feedback to the first part! What I really loved about writing this installment was that I could have Jim and Bones POV and get their side of the story. They needed a bit of a time-out to get themselves and their priorities straight, not just because of Chris, and get it here.
And thanks so much for mentioning that Dael works for you *beams*
Heh, it's not that your fic was the only contributing factor, because while you always post wonderfully long chapters it didn't take me ALL day to read, but the moment I saw the post was when I realized that today would not be the day I finally cleaned my apartment.
The fic was quite lovely btw. I'm glad some of their issues are getting resolved or at least framed in a way they can live with.

This fic is my reward for a long day. :-)

Dael would never have gotten that out of Jim if not for easing the way with Romulan Ale, and I totally think Bones told her the trick.
