setting the next generation on the road

heh. so i've set the next generation on the path down the path to either the dark or the light (one of each i think). yes, i've tempted two kids (5 and almost 3) by bringing over The Phantom Menace the other night. After a very early outing, i ended up at my friends' place bringing over said movie. the mom and dad are long time friends of mines, and they wanted to see a non-kiddie movie and since the 5yo wanted to go see new star wars playing the theater, this was a test to see if he could handle it. plus it will lead into the 2nd and then the current. they didnt last too long. both konked out at about the midway point in the movie, while the rest of us adults stayed up through the rest of it. the next morning, j the almost 3yo woke up and the first thing out of her mouth was 'mommy, are we going to finish watching starwarbs?' hahahah i hooked her.

they had a better morning then me. got woken up early by a phonecall to take my place in a tactical exercise.
