hey, its my day off. why are there so many people running around?

i really like having fridays off (because i sometimes work sundays). its partly because i get to do things on a normal workday for everyone else. lines are shorter, parking is easier, etc. found out today was Kamehameha Day in hawaii! its a state holiday. that explains the humongous muck up in the municipal lot in kaimuki! ugh. going around in circles for 20 mins to get a stall. obviously, my parking luck has deserted me. (and greg, i'm not going to use the 'its cause i live a virtuous life' comment again. its going to come back around to bite me in the ass!).

but its such a nice day. sunny in the mid 80s. hell, why am i here. going to the beach. seeya!
