It's 56°F (13.5°C*) and sunny here this afternoon -- nice weather indeed to sit outdoors in a sunny spot out of the wind. I actually fell asleep for a bit. Roo, the outdoor cat, wanted to hop into my lap, but I was trying to read a manual.

Maybe the recording industry doesn't actually want anybody to listen to music anymore. CBC Radio's program As It Happens had this gem on its website today: NOTE: Starting January 1, 2004, we will no longer be including cuts of music in our Real Audio files of past shows, for copyright reasons. I've just signed up for something called MemeStreams. It allows you to suggest web pages of interest by topic, and see the suggestions of other members by topic. As you use it, it learns which other members' suggestions you find most interesting, and tailors the future recommendations accordingly.
