On the 50th anniversary of the assassination of The Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King Jr, there is a lot of discussion about how America has failed at racial and economic equality.

I'm wondering where Dr. King would have been in the efforts for gender rights - gay marriage, employment, services, housing. The Black Church has not been known as a supporter.
