The Big Broadcast is WAMU's longest running program.
I think they meant to say "longest-running", with that sneaky little hyphen. It doesn't mean the same thing. Punctuation is important.

I look at the station's schedule and I see that running 4 hours, it ties with (Mon-Fri news program) Morning Edition, so it's technically true, although for me an unqualified "-est" implies no ties.

Just heard on NPR News:"A second day of women's marches are under way across the country...."
Subject: "day"
Verb: "are"

What's happened to basic education? What's happened to proofreaders and editors?

You could have said "For a second day, women's marches are under way...."
