I just posted an entry about Pennsic
XLIII (2014). And I note there are no Pennsic 2014 photos on my website yet. ☹ That means I need to go through all those photos....
Saturday 02:41
The Pennsic 2014 photos are on the website, but none has been tagged yet. ☹
Saturday 04:42
I've posted 19 DW/LJ entries from 2014/06/04 (
Slender Man) to 2014/06/28 (
NC house check).
Sunday 01:48
I've posted 32 DW/LJ entries from 2014/06/28 (
NC house check) to 2014/08/03 (
Pennsic XLIII: War Week, Sunday). 7 are Pennsic entries, which have photos and tables. But the 2014 Pennsic entries are much more complete than the 2013 entries were.
I feel like I'm putting a terrible burden on the people who actually want to read my journal. I've posted 343 entries since I got back from Pennsic, from 2013/May/10 through 2014/Aug/03.

So I'm going through the Pennsic 2014 entries, posting to DW/LJ. I'm adding links to photos on my website. I've got a fairly-clever script that takes as an argument almost any form of reference to the photo - URL (web or local), path, filename - and finds the photo and its description in the source directory for my website. It then lets you modify the description, and generates the HTML to put in the DW posting. This last photo I added did not have a description, but since I was looking at my DW entry I had the University listing handy. After I added the photo to my DW entry, I went back to add the description to the website. How clever am I? My script noted that the photo had no description, and it already added the description I used for DW to the website source. It's not the full description I would normally want, but it was better than nothing. I guess I already made that connection when I wrote the script in the first place. ☺
Monday 03:31
I've posted 31 DW/LJ entries from 2014/08/04 (
Pennsic XLIII: War Week, Monday) to 2014/08/30 (
faith?).
Monday 04:19
There's more photos from 2014 that need to be added to my website. That's going to interrupt the DW/LJ posting.
Tuesday 15:02
Posting journal entries that were already written is less work than captioning and tagging old photos.
