Obama and Trump had a meeting today (2 days after the election) about the transition. They had never met before. Should we be surprised? Isn't that a reflection of the entire election? A split electorate of two populations who mostly had no interaction with people from the other group?
The inauguration is in 71 days, if anyone wants to do a countdown to disaster. [Not that this will be posted by then....]If anyone still doubts that the inexperienced man gets promoted ahead of the qualified woman, you can wake up now

There have been daily protests of Trump since the election. I haven't heard any discussion of what the protests might have been like if Clinton had won. Start off with Trump not saying that he would accept the results if he lost. Then think about how angry and confrontational many of his supporters were before the election. Then consider how many of them are eager to carry firearms.
I think we'd be seeing a lot more - and more violent - protests had Hillary won the election.

Trump supporters feel that The Government has let them down. Well guess what, Trump supporters? Everybody feels that way. Everybody except the 1% who have 99% of the money. Liberals voting for Democrats feel that The Government has let them down. All the various minority groups feel The Government has let them down. For generations.
Now we probably don't agree on how and why The Government has let us down. I think the non-Trump-supporters would have a general consensus that Republican attitudes, policies, and (generally unfounded) beliefs have been blocking The Government's initiatives to help us. Anyone who didn't think that before Obama's election certainly caught on after the Republicans said they'd do everything they could to block anything Obama wanted to do.

I've just seen a news report of anti-Trump/election demonstrations in my hometown:
Hundreds Gather In Greensboro To Protest Trump Election 10:55am Nov 11, 2016
Demonstrators take to the streets in Greensboro.
Greensboro police say about 500 people gathered downtown on Thursday night to protest the election results. Two people were arrested.
Juan Miranda with the International Socialist Organization tells the News and Record of Greensboro the gathering grew over social media, and brought together a number of groups.
Minorities and members of the city's LGBT community said they wanted to make sure their voices were heard.
Another protest is planned Friday evening at UNC-Greensboro.
About 40 people demonstrated in Winston-Salem on Thursday night.
Clinton won the county, but Trump won the state. ☹
