weekend interrupted

I had been thinking about driving to NC this weekend, but yesterday anniemal said she was planning to go to the hippy farm. (I should have realized this weekend was Samhain.) It has suddenly turned much colder (47°F/8deg;C when I got home on the bike last night), and it's going to be chilly at the farm. But it's also going to be chilly and wet in NC, so I probably wouldn't get much of the outdoor work done that I was planning. And it's not a long weekend, so I wouldn't have much time there.

Parts south got freak early snowfalls yesterday. This weekend would have sucked for cleaning Mom's gutters. (Probably should wait until all the leaves are down, anyway.)
