The latest word is that we'll be getting the Kindle Fire HD, with the 7" screen, camera, and Bluetooth.
Dinner will be at Maggiano's in Tyson's Corner, and we can bring a guest. (I wonder what the chances are of anniemal being sober?) At last mention dinner was at 6, and I normally work until (at least) 7, so there's some question as to whether I can take off early.
Assuming our office moves downtown, a tablet with Bluetooth would be a nice way to entertain myself on a bus/subway commute. (There are bus stops at my corner, and the agency headquarters is adjacent to Union Station.)
We got some corporate swag today too - an insulated travel mug and a (very thin) mousepad.
