a weekend

anniemal left for the hippie farm this morning. She was going to pick up her OkCupid playmate with the van. She should be back Monday.
The big event for the weekend is erecting a standing stone for the ongoing project of a circle of stones.
She's taking 4 rats to release in the woods. They may thrive, or they may be eaten. They may enjoy the great outdoors. And its weather. Their sisters will probably enjoy having more space in the cage. There's too many of them, and she has no prospects of finding new homes for them. (Who wants rats?) So the ones she likes least are getting their freedom.
As it turns out, I have to work this weekend - probably Saturday and Monday (holiday) both. The agency's new CIO has decided he wants something implemented on all our servers in 2 weeks. It's going to be incredibly disruptive, pulling most of us support staff off of scheduled projects. It also totally violates our process of making changes in the development, backup-site, and production environments in sequence with a couple of weeks between each round of changes to flush out and correct problems.
