I was just looking at old DW postings and I saw mention of upgrading our WiFi router from
802.11g to 802.11n after we got new laptops. I never did that. We could be having faster Internet connections with much better range. (The signal is minimal in my bedroom.) 802.11n also uses an additional frequency band that isn't shared with cordless phones; I lose my connection in the bedroom whenever
anniemal is on the phone. (It's not like she doesn't have a wired phone just as close, and it doesn't get lost because she doesn't carry it around and leave it someplace strange....) We even have the router now - I got a coupon from Microcenter for a free one last December. I was thinking of the new router as a spare, but I'd forgotten that the current router is older tech.
