I didn't get to much today. I slept latish. I did get a short shower, and I felt worlds better after that. I should have taken a shower last night. Hot showers may be my defining line between civilization and primitive life. (Dirt under the fingernails makes a good indicator.) It was very cloudy this morning (still threatening rain), and that kept the tent cool longer than usual. Sort of combined breakfast and lunch, but couldn't get myself to any classes before 13:00. And I didn't notice beforehand that that class, on glass drinking vessels, was a 2-hr class. It didn't last that long, but it went over enough to rule out a 14:00 class, and the Known World Choir rehearsal was at 15:00. Rehearsal was good. About half of the 2 hours was sectional rehearsals, and I'm the tenor section leader. I wasn't stellar, but we covered the ground. I saw Erin briefly at the end of rehearsal, but we were dashing off in different directions. The instructor for the class at 17:00 on Medieval Modal Improvisation didn't show up, but the "students" all had a nice chat.
A quick bite of dinner, and dashed off for the Teribus concert - mostly bagpipes and drums, loud, so earplugs.
dglenn arrived just before I was leaving for the concert, but I helped set up the tent when I got back.
Putting in earplugs. I can't even think to type with the music coming from some party up the hill.... (I guess I'm tired.) I still haven't had a good look at tomorrow's class schedule....
But tonight I will take a shower before bed.
