US: Election Day
I hope those of you in the US who've forgotten that elections are today see this in time to remind you. I heard very little in our local news leading up to this, and I think a lot of people will forget about it. Just local elections here in Virginia, but our entire state legislature is running the gauntlet today. Northern Virginia (Arlington/Alexandria/Fairfax) is not like the rest of the state, and some of our Democratic incumbents are unchallenged. Party control of the legislature will probably affect redistricting, which comes up soon.
