My new mug (Pennsic-camp gift) holds the same volume as my favorite goblet. I filled the mug to the brim, and poured that into the goblet - filled to the brim.
The mug won't spill as easily as the goblet. I should find out what this volume is....
[18oz/525cc. Figure 16oz to avoid spilling, rather than filled to the brim. That's significantly more than a 12oz/355ml soda/beer.]

I mowed the lawn tonight. It's been raining/thunderstorming almost every day, and this was one of the few evenings it skipped. I should have started earlier. It was dark when I finished. The lawnmower's headlights, an annoying waste of energy for daytime mowing, were not on tonight. (They were on when I started, before it got dark.) I don't think this is the first time the lights were out at night. (There's not that many times I've finished up in the dark.)

I just found an Armistice Merchant List on line: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1npSJbdkoUfPmXt_B2TgXx1p_sKR5yJTJ1EN2QMFJQrM/edit?fbclid=IwAR3Zk1ytYSL4DOSg30OUaxZ4rhz-nJZHLfaO4KRHDMYJGmts2k8RC1Q5ZF4 .
It would have been more useful 2-3 weeks ago.
I found the link on Facebook; I don't think it was mentioned anywhere on the Cooper's/Armistice web site. (What is the point of having your own site if you don't put your information on it?)

Wednesday 23:03

I just learned that Armistice had a mayor. Someone named Manuel.
(Pennsic has a mayor every year. It seems to be someone different every year, preferably with an understudy/assistant role the preceeding year? Pennsic XLIX has had the same mayor for 3 years, with the Covid cancellations postponements.)
And the organizers were expecting everyone to rely on on-line listings. That's something people would need to know before they arrived.... (Like my desire for a printed class schedule.)
And those on-line listings were not being updated during the event. (Not even afterward.)

Thursday 07:59

I've just found the missing parts to use the universal laptop power supply directly off 12 volts. And the 12v USB power adapter was with them. I made do without them at Armistice, but with them I could have been writing DW/LJ entries on the laptop while they were fresh.
I'll have to be more thorough checking my packing list next year.

Friday 08:03

The 2021 Arlington County Fair is this weekend. It's pouring rain right now as what's left of Tropical Depression FRED moves north.

[The weather was nice Friday afternoon, and through the weekend. I did not get to the Fair.]
