Armistice wire wrapping

07:40 Moonday 02 August 2021

I woke around 07:30? Trying to get back to sleep. The I-79 traffic is louder this (weekday) morning.
I reversed my bedding because my head was downhill and I kept sliding. I will reverse the cot to match later. [Didn't happen.]

Moonday 07:52

I think I need to try afternoon showers this year. It's too cold to walk to/from the showers at night.

I don't think I'm getting back to sleep this morning without earplugs. I had 2 naps yesterday - between class and hot-dog lunch, and between lunch and dinner.

I wish I had printed the class schedule.
I changed the camera battery yesterday.

Moonday 08:32

I have the 12-volt plug for charging the camera battery; charging. (So that doesn't need to go through the inverter.)

I don't need to make/take lunch this morning; no 12:00 classes.

Moonday 12:17

Back at camp for lunch

Private class! "Wire Work Demonstration" wrapping a cabochon into a pendant. I was the only student, so it became a hands-on tutorial. The instructor gave me a clasp (with a way cool glass bead) and a cabochon she had wrapped, and I wrapped another. Karin, the instructor, was also at the basket and finger-weaving classes earlier.
This class was a late addition to the schedule [on line at all?], so it may be that only people who saw the copy of the schedule at the University tent had any way of knowing this class existed.

Moonday 23:30

The culinary extracts and cordials class is tomorrow. (Did I mess up my copy of the schedule, or was the class moved?)

We couldn't get the pilot lit for the oven. I replaced the stove's ignition battery (8 x AA), and cleaned the electrical contacts.

I mashed potatoes.
I was falling asleep at the dinner table. [Things had taken a long time to cook. Gary later deduced that the gas regulator needed to be replaced. (But the igniter was also a problem.)]
I washed some dishes.

I finished the basket.

I worked on my cabochon setting.
Some of the solar garden lights I put next to my tent stakes are not working. There are a few new unused ones I can switch into their places. [One of the replacements didn't work either.]
I did not get to the shower this afternoon. ☹
(And I've noticed my Covid-era savory body aroma is back.)
I did not get a nap, either.
