Inflated plastic bubbles for the band, and 100 bubbles for the audience, each containing up to 3 people. The bubbles contained a water bottle and a towel (for condensation), and an FM receiver (in case the band's speakers weren't sufficient), and were inflated with leaf blowers and zipped closed. Each also contained a sign so the occupants could request more water or extraction to go potty.
I didn't see any chairs in the photos. Maybe I'm an old fogey, but I'm not accustomed to standing through a concert.
A Vancouver couple flew to Whitehorse (the Yukon) and from there chartered a flight to Beaver Creek (the westernmost town in Canada) and claimed to be workers at the town's hotel to get vaccinated at a local clinic. Besides cutting the line and depriving a remote, vulnerable community of vaccine doses, they failed to comply with the self-isolation requirement on entering the province. And, oh, he is paid millions for running a casino, and she is an actress. They've got fines of $1,150 each (which is nothing, with their income) and may see some jail time. He's resigned his job, and they've earned the scorn of a nation.

No one inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame this year?

No players gained entry into Cooperstown in this year’s class....
It’s the first time in eight years no players were elected by the writers, and since there was no veterans committee because of the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no inductees in the class. That hadn’t happened since 1960.
Of the 401 [Baseball Writers' Association of America] ballots submitted, a record 14 were left blank.
Only 4 players got over 50%; induction requires 75%. Curt Schilling was the highest at 71.1%.

Heard on the radio (BBC): The Philippines has a thriving black market of Covid vaccines. It's the Chinese vaccine, and 1/5 of the Chinese nationals in the Philippines have been vaccinated. (If they got got the real vaccine.) Legitimate vaccinations in the Philippines have not started yet. (I.e. if you've been vaccinated there, you know it's dodgy.)

Just wondering - are people who switched to working from home taking fewer sick days?
When I switched from taking Metro (subway + bus) to work to bicycling, I essentially stopped catching colds. Are we seeing any changes like this across a larger sample set?
