mowing, and a frog?

I mowed the yard this afternoon. There was enough battery for the whole yard. I mowed 80%(?) of the yard the Saturday before last, but I didn't get back to finish that weekend; we've been having a lot of rain. It looked like rain today, but I decided to see how much I could do before it got wet. There were thunderstorms in the area, but they skipped us this time.

What was unusual was seeing a frog in the yard. (There's been a lot of rain.) I didn't get a good look; it was hiding in the tall grass that wasn't mowed last time. This was on the front side of the house, which gets more sun than the back. The nearest permanent water is 1½ blocks away to the south and west, and that stream is mostly cement channels and culverts. But we do have some huge crickets in our yard, and hordes of small crickets. If that's what frogs like, there's a bounty here.

We also have big crows around here, and they'd probably think frogs are a good meal.
