So, if you use they/them/their/theirs for an individual of unspecified gender, what do you do with the verb? Do you make it plural, to match the pronoun, or do you keep it singular, to match the subject?

Maybe these are workable?"they's": "they is"; or singular possessive, belonging to they.
"them's": belonging to them.
On further reflection, I do code switch - when I (knowingly) use incorrect or altered grammar. If you ever hear me say:
  • None are/were.
  • It's me.
  • They/them/their for an individual (other than royalty).
