Twenty years ago, British mother-of-two Surjit Athwal was murdered.BBC Radio story about "honour killing"*, looking back to the first(?) conviction in Britain:I think more victims are able to come forward.
*Close relatives ((step-)parents, siblings, uncles, in-laws, etc) kill women because of (alleged) inappropriate behaviour deemed immoral or offensive by the culture's norms.
