replay/myth/tivo
replaytv and mythtv (personal digital video recorders) both have LJ communities. Unfortunately for TiVo, somebody has grabbed that name for a user account. Maddeningly, it's a never-used 5-year-old account - no entries, no updates, no friends, no comments (posted or received). I guess there must be a TiVo community under another name. (I'm not going to look for it because I'm not a TiVo user and I'm not planning to become one.) I've ranted before about inactive LJ account names that ought to be given to people who deserve them more, would appreciate them, and would actually use them. But I hadn't noticed it affect (what ought to be) a community before. (And I expect this would be a pretty large community.)
