woot! has sucked me in again. Today it's a folding 50w solar panel. That's 3 times the power of the panel I've been using at Pennsic, and it will be easier to pack for Pennsic. It comes with a charge controller, so I'll have 2 3.
I was already thinking about replacing the battery for something also a little more compact and with higher capacity. (I don't know what kind of treatment my Optima's been getting, another thing that keeps getting left outside through the winters.
But the current panel did negligible charging last Pennsic, and I ran out of power for my laptop. (The laptop needs a new battery as well.)

I really should have solar stuff set up on the deck now, exercising everything.
