1) The doctor gave me a shot. Well, technically a nurse did, but the Dr prescribed it, and also drugs. Rescon? A lady at work has spoken highly of it in the past, so nom nom nom pills I guess. My headache is trying REALLY hard to come back. I am refusing to let it, though. Ibuprofen at about 1, and when that didn't work I took Excedrin at about 2 when it started hurting in my eyes again. It seems to be fighting the headache, but it's not gone yet ( Read more... )

I'm getting tired of clearing my throat.

So! My throat feels better? But now it's in my lungs. Or in the process of settling in there, anyways. I can feel it, if I take a deep breath. Also I'm coughing a lot, which makes my throat hurt when I do. But I'm not reliant on tea to feel human anymore! But my voice still sounds weird. Plusses and minuses ( Read more... )

The doc gave me meds. Yay meds!

Nothing is infected yet or anything, just all icky from drainage (YAY ALLERGIES) so I got some nose spray and Magic Mouthwash. It's equal parts Lidocaine, Maalox, and Benadryl. The lidocaine I understand... it numbs my mouth and throat. The benadryl helps with allergies if I swallow it, that makes sense, too. But ( Read more... )
