Still alive and kicking....so far!
Today is the first day of my 19-day Working Week. I am beyond crazy for volunteering to work for almost three weeks straight, but considering that I have medical bills to pay this year (thank goodness for getting dental work done), and plans to save up for the August vacation (Tampa and NYC), I am looking forward to the hopefully fat paycheck several weeks down the line.
Yesterday was lots of fun. The band practice went well (yay for The Tar Plains!), the flag football team won our first game of the spring season (yay MadDawgs!), and I watched the BBC presentation of Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility. Hattie Morahan, who played the Elinor Dashwood character, is dashingly hot--she's got that Suzanne Vega thing going on.
I felt lethargic on Saturday so I stayed in all day long. I did get some cleaning chores finished, as well as some quality time with Le Pianeaux de Meaux. I love the sound and the feel of the digital piano. Maybe the next Mo vlog will feature the new piano....
