Addicted to an online soap opera series....
Last night I discovered the delightful A Pleasant View series on YouTube. I spent over two hours watching the entire series. Hot damn. I never thought that there would be a day that I would enjoy drama series!
Damn. I am now inspired to create a video mini-series based on some of my favorite characters in my Parklife (formerly Pleasantview) neighborhood. Learning how to use the video recording mode in The Sims 2 helped. Likely candidates include the perky, cheerful, and inquisitive teenager Cheynna Rabinowitz (her family recently moved to Parklife from Brooklyn), and the yet-to-be-moved-in Sakamoto family (which I will approximate from the original game). The original (legacy) Pleasantview/Parklife characters will be perfect backdrop for the stories, which will be more sitcom-esque than dramatic. Maybe the series will be called Le Sims de Meaux. :o
