Simple Pleasures: "Don't need the cardiology to have a change of heart...."
Listening to classic Scritti Politti songs brings a smile to my face. There is definitely time and place for seductive pop songs by artists who use big, highbrow words.
Today's plans include having breakfast with katiekatiepants and crew, attending the first flag football practice (the first game is tomorrow), picking up a Flexcar for the evening, shopping for culinary guilty pleasures at Foster & Dobbs (I am in a mood to look for organic vialone nano risotto rice!), attending a wine party, going to a birthday gathering, and seeing The Prids perform at The Fez (as part of Musicfest NW--the show is the band's new EP release party!).
This is going to be a busy day but nonetheless a day filled with fun potential!
