Sunday in a nutshell....

Today was a good day for exercising and relaxing. I leisurely rode for about 10 miles before doing swimming laps at March Wellness, then rode about five more miles afterwards. It didn't feel like I had pushed myself that much, but I almost felt like passing out while sitting in the whirlpool at the fitness center. I was shocked to discover that my weight had dropped to a new, recent low of 142.8! Holy shit. I wonder if I can hit the 140 mark before I fly out to NYC on August 3rd? With the four-day Oregon Brewers Festival coming up in few days, I sense that meeting those weight goals would be difficult. I was so surprised that I had lost several pounds since last Monday, as I spent six days without working out and consumed copious amounts of wine on Friday and Saturday evenings!

Dinner Party last night was fun. I had no idea that I was ruthless and merciless when playing Name That Tune 80s Edition! I suppose all those years of reading Smash Hits magazine (Star Hits in the States) came in handy!

One of my Swatches died this evening. Funk. I have no time or patience for planned obsolescense (Swatches are made to last only ten years maximum). I shall be investing in middlebrow time pieces very shortly!
