the girl was always falling again and again
Looks like it's been about forever since I updated. I'm really not much of a computer person at home because I get frustrated with dail-up and Josh yells at me when I get on his computer, even though he was probably sleeping or ignoring me anyway.
Work is good. Pretty much the same as last year, only now I am a "blue tag" (basically a supervisor with no power). What does this mean? Well, I now work til close most days, answer emails that come from the website when the lady who normally does it is off (apparently this will be my main job later on in the summer), and train the 4 new college girls. I'm excited about not being the only person under 50 here, and the two that are already here are pretty great. Also, I got a 15 cent raise. w00t?
The Josh is finally planning on moving out of is grandparents' place and living with Gabe, who he's known since high school. He'll only be about 5 minutes farther away from me, but it's 15 minutes closer to work for him. Gabe is excited because he has someone to split utilities and rent with (Josh) and someone to cook for him (me, he thinks). I'm not living with them or anything, but I'm sure I'll be there just as much as I'm at Josh's now, maybe more since it's right on my way home from work.
I'm totally neglecting my ASA duties. I just don't want to deal with paper work right now, especially since I do a lot of that at work. Hopefully I'll get off my ass and send out my reports soon, since they were due last week. On a side note.. I'm getting the "Outstanding New Member" Award at the national convention this summer, which I find funny because of my chronic lateness with reports/forms. I'll be in France during the convention, so the award is getting mailed to me some time in August. Woop-de-doo. The woman who called to tell me also said that there'll be press releases going out to local papers (the Jeff and B&M). Yeesh.
I'm going to try to update more often, I promise. I know how much you all miss my shenanigans. Also, I had a dream about making out with Robert Smith last night and I need to write it down somewhere because it was so weird. Maybe I'll do that tonight when I get home from work.
