It was a lovely surprise to get your letter enclosed with a note from my mum. It's rather difficult to get letters to students here, except from parents, so if you want to write again, just send it to my house again.
Sorry that your term is off to a poor start. Things are certainly a bit more stressful for me, too, with O levels and all. How many subjects are you taking? I've got my seven core sub classes, and I have four outhers that I added on in third year. I can't wait until next year, so I can dump a couple classes that have been mandatory until now so far.
Your upcoming dance sounds fun. My school is both boys and girls, so we don't mix with other schools too often. But we don't have dances too often, either. Rather old fasioned, really. Have you a nice dress yet, or do you have time to buy a new one? What about a date? Any of those lads strike your fancy?
Sorry if I frightened you by leaving so quickly this summer. I tend to take ill quite fast, and we just had to go home. Lucky that I'd given you my address the day before, yeah?
I suppose I should get workin gon some of the essays I have due within the week. Professors always want us to write so much on simple subjects!
