I want to see how the weather the next day and a half plays out. It's actually going to dip to freezing or just below it. At the same time, though, it could rain. Considering that San Antonians under normal, dry conditions can't drive worth a damn, it gets REALLY entertaining when it gets wet. Forget it if it freezes! If accepted as official, that'd tie the state record, set back in the legendary Dust Bowl summer of 1936. It looks like we're going to get some more hail. There's some wacky weather converging on the city. It's quite bizarre. One storm SW of us is coming at us and a different storm NW of us is also moving down to us. They're basically going to ram into each other right over the city. We're already seeing some lightning. As brain_o_shaner said it's been raining like crazy for about an hour. It also hailed some serious hail for about half an hour. Yeah, it was interesting considering how many very tall windows we have. It was accumulating on the yard too so it looks like it was snowing. He had to run outside and snap some pics of course. So, Bush just held a press conference in Austin. In theory, it was to address the rescue and recovery efforts for Hurricane Rita, but in fact, it turned out to be little more than a photo op with Rick Perry, Kay Bailey Hutchison, Tom DeLay, and other folks of dubious distinction.
